Citizen of Madagascar, Rajaonarison Haja is research fellow at the Graduate School of Economics, Kyoto University. His research focuses on the theoretical and empirical foundations of the new political economy of agricultural development and food security in sub-Saharan Africa. His research pinpoints both pinpoints theoretical as well as empirical study of the role of Transnational corporations, the constructions of network through institutional arrangements such as the public-private partnership in transforming food governance in Africa. Rajaonarison Haja also empirically explores methodological approach to causality between two or multiple variables in time series based on leading and following relations . Prior his fellowship at the graduate school of Economics, Kyoto University, Rajaonarison Haja earned is Master's and PhD degree in International Relations from Ritsumeikan University, Kyoto, Japan.
